The Microseismic User Group (MUG) celebrated another successful year in 2021, wrapping up 10 years of talks on microseismic and induced seismicity topics. The group hosted speakers from academia, industry, and government. While events remained online throughout the year, the group was able to reach an international audience and achieve greater participation.

As in-kind sponsorship was not an option for virtual events, MUG accepted financial sponsorship for the first time. MUG graciously acknowledges sponsorship by Silixa, which enables MUG to continue its successful operation and offer free educational events.
